   Men's Gathering Every Thursday

Christian Men’s Prayer Meeting held in Mocksville at the Brock Center’s 2nd floor conference room. This 7AM prayer time is open to all men. Coffee and snack provided. Contact is Mike Drayton.

   2nd Quarter Men's Prayer Meeting

Please try and attend the Quarterly, Men’s Prayer Breakfast, scheduled for Tuesday April 17^th at 7am, at Hillsdale UMC in the Advance area of Davie County.

This is being organized by several men in the area as a means of “Calling” men to prayer for the church, our families and our communities. To encourage prayer and its importance in our daily lives. This is a time for the body of Christ to come together as ONE and focus on Jesus Christ and HIS power through prayer.

Breakfast will be served consisting of some light items such as biscuits, coffee, juice, etc.

Our “special” guest speaker will be Mr. Andy Jones, Missionary/Evangelist, for the Bonfire Ministry out of Iredell County. Andy will be encouraging all to get “involved” with the ever so important Bonfire Events, being organized by the Serving Him Ministry coming April 22-25.

Please mark your calendars now and spread the word about the Bonfire “Community Worship".  Events that will begin on Sunday evening April 22nd. Each evening will have a powerful message of Christ’s love, for us all, via music and presented challenges. The evening “Community Worship” is a time for everyone to come together as one and worship the Lord! Here is the Schedule of events for the four day “Community Worship” Series: Sunday April 22nd 6PM “Kickoff” night (inviting all area churches to attend to get the series started!) Monday April 23rd 7PM (FIRST evening worship with many of the daytime school students attending!) Tuesday April 24th 7PM (EVERY evening worship will have FREE door prizes and GREAT music!) Wednesday April 25th 7PM (CLOSING 4th night that will rock Davie County for Christ…All Invited!!) We still need many more “volunteers” for BOTH the daytime & evening events! We’re asking area Pastors and church leaders to take part in the “Counseling” areas which is being headed up by two Davie County Pastors. Thanks in advance to those two Pastors; Jeremy Amick and Brent Spry. Contact them, or the Serving Him Ministry, with the dates you can assist within the counseling areas. Informational Meetings for the
April 2012 School Events

The Serving Him Ministry has some very unique events planned for school students that will take place from April 22nd thru 25th 2012.

Purpose of April 2012 Events:
These events will be an awesome opportunity for our public school students to experience Christ in an unusual way. With parent permission, the students are able to be taken off campus for the purpose of religious instruction. This is a lawful absence and it is on a voluntary basis. While on this field trip, the students will experience incredible music and a powerful testimony.

Scheduled Informational Meetings:
To properly inform Davie County parents, grandparents, guardians and the like, a series of Informational Meetings has been created so as to answer the questions about these April 2012 events. You are invited to attend one of these meetings, and need only attend one, as each meeting will cover the same information. Please assist the Serving Him Ministry with their planning for these meetings by emailing, or calling, them with your date/time you plan on attending. Each meeting will last no more than 1 hour!

Courageous - Opening September 30, 2011

The Serving Him Ministry is using its network of 152 churches and weekly Christian radio show broadcasts to get the word out about the September 30^th release of Courageous. The ministry has made plans to bring this exciting Faith & Family Friendly Film to the Piedmont. Just like “The Grace Card” we have decided to bring “Courageous” to Statesville specifically.

Film Synopsis:

Ever since the first radio show on January 6, 2010 we have been bringing the Piedmont area of NC a NEW type of “Talk Radio”! You can continue to listen each Wednesday to The Serving Him Ministry Radio Show, with host Mike Drayton, from 11AM to Noon on WSIC (AM1400), WDSL (AM1520) and on the internet via the ministry website right here.

This “Live” radio show has had Pastors, Missionaries, Veterans, Ministry Leaders and others, On-Air, with us in a discussion format all aimed at ENCOURAGING and INSPIRING us all and leave us reminded that God Is In Control!
